The house has a modern heating system to keep you warm and comfortable throughout your stay. During the colder months it is programmed to come on for a few hours in the morning and evening and during the main part of the day it will drop to a slightly lower level. It is split in to zones throughout the house to ensure its efficiency given the size and age of the property!
Your host can also arrange for the towel radiators in the bathrooms to come on separately from the room radiators, so please let them know if you wish to have these on more or less frequently.
Check the radiator valve settings (normally 0 to 5) if some rooms need finer adjustment locally, but bear in mind that the main system may not be sending hot water to the given radiator.
Sadly Glencaple Tower is not a modern insulated house, so running the heating for long periods will burn a huge amount of gas. Please help us to minimise our gas consumption.
